Shruti Sadolikar

Shruti Sādolikar (Shruti Sādolikar-Kātkar) is a classical music singer of the Jaipur-Atrauli Gharānā.

Shruti hails from Mahārāshtra. At her early age, she started learning classical music from her father, Pandit Wāmanrāo Sādolikar, who was a disciple of the Jaipur-Atrauli Gharana founder, Ustad Alladiya Khan, and his son Ustad Bhurji Khan. Shruti then trained for twelve more years under Ustad Gullubhāi Jasdanwāllā, who was renowned for his repository of rare compositions and complex Ragas of the Jaipur-Atrauli Gharānā. Shruti continues to learn from Ustad Bhurji Khan's son Ustad Azizuddin Khan. (More here, including a couple of audio clips)
